MIDAS - A multichannel
digital sound and music system, designed mainly for use in games,
demos, and other realtime multimedia applications.
FMOD - A digital sound
and music system with DX7 support (this adds more hardware voices
than previously possible before) and an updated Delphi interface.
FMOD is a commercial product, but if your product is not intended
to make any money, and is not charged for in any way, then you may
use FMOD in it for FREE! (Shareware and commercial licenses are
$200 and $985...)
BASS is a sound system
for use in Windows 9x/NT/2k software. It's purpose is to provide
developers with a set of powerful yet easy to use sample, stream
(MP3, WAV, custom generated), MOD music (XM, IT, S3M, MOD, MTM),
MO3 music (MP3 compressed MODs) and audio CD playback functions.
BASS also allows 3D positioning of samples, streams and MOD musics,
and supports A3D and EAX (Environmental Audio eXtensions).
SilleX Media
- This site currently contains the SilleXMedia lib for DelphiX which
includes a MOD player for DelphiX.
DAPlay - While
other Digital Audio Players are difficiult to personalize, DAPlay
offers you almost unlimited access to create your own interface
in Borland Delphi, C++ Builder, J Builder (all using VCL). The source
code is free and is based on the MAPlay software (GNU General Public
License).
Xaudio MP3 SDK - Write your
own MP3 player in a few lines of code. With the XAUDIO SDK, now
available for the Windows95/98/NT, Windows CE, MacOS and UNIX platforms,
you can very easily write your own GUI or other front-end to the
Xaudio decoding engine. The SDK includes the libraries and sample
code for Visual C++, Delphi, C/Command-Line, Motif, etc. The SDK
is free for individual use, and can be licensed for commercial distribution.
EldoS Sounds
- EldoS Sounds is the next step after MPegPlay . It includes the
new optimized Audio MPEG decoder engine, called ElAMP. EldoS Sounds
contains the Delphi component to work with decoder modules, ElAMP
decoder module, help file and demo player. WMA module is available
separately. More modules (for RealAudio etc.) will come soon.
Torry's Audio Page
- a one-stop shop for playing any kind of audio in Delphi. Most
routines do not require DirectX (which is sometimes a plus) and
focus on WAV, MP3, and MIDI. You might also want to check out his
mixers page for volume

Delphi
Graphics Site - Erik Unger shows the man whose the boss with
his Delphi conversions of the DirectX, OpenGL, and Glide (3DFX)
header files.
Delphi3D
- One well done site full of tasty OpenGL programming articles and
sources in 100% Delphi.
GLScene - an OpenGL based
3D library for Delphi. It provides visual components and objects
allowing description and rendering of 3D scenes in an easy, no-hassle,
yet powerfull manner.
NeHe Tutorials - these
are cool OpenGL tutorials in C/C++ but they get ported to Delphi.
WDirectX
- Free DirectX VCL components for Delphi 4.0.
Graphics32 -
a freeware set of Delphi classes and components optimized for fast
32-bit graphics. Supports alpha blending and antialiasing.
Graph64 - another
bitmap lib in the same style of FastLib or Graphics32. It's called
Graph64 by Pavol Stugel, and supports easy bitmap manipulations
with special effects like antialiasing, alphablending, blur, lens,
lines, texture mapping, etc...
G-Soft - Home of FastLIB,
a DIB component with fast pixel access and real-time PhotoShop-like
effects. It will make you feel like you're programming mode 13h
again.
Allegro.pas - the
Delphi import unit for the game programming library called Allegro.
The latest "Work in Progress" version has cross-platform support
for DOS, Windows, and Unix this interface for Delphi communicates
with that library (DLL) to let Delphi programmers use this excellent
game library.

- a french tutorial site that teaches you the in and outs of DemoFX

it gets...) We got a majority of our pre-QA input from his web visitors
and he helped start the Miniverse hype machine way back when the

IsoCanvas
-- an Isometric engine example that uses only the Windows
GDI through Delphi's Canvas. IsoCanvas isn't fast, isn't
optimized much, and should only be used as learning tool for
beginner isometric programmer. Hopefully in the near future
I'll release another version of this with (at least) DelphiX
support.

HKStreams -
a component that enables you to easily save and load many
streams into one file. The streams can be stored with LHA
compression if wanted, and can also be encrypted with
blowfish. THKStreams is also smart, if you load afterwards
an encrypted or compressed (or both) file, it will know how
to read it, and can also call your event that asks the user
for a password if needed.Can also handle wrong passwords or
corrupt files.

Player Component - This component was developed in
Delphi and is intended for 32-bit Delphi. The use of the
component is simplified to such an extent that you can
operate it by using just the following commands:
Filename:='Test.Fli', Play, Stop, Pause, Continue, Next,
Previous, SeekFrame(FrameNo).
The
PowerFlic v1.05 component - PowerFlic is a 32bit
multi-threaded flic playing component for Delphi. Featuring
fully 32bit Delphi 3.x and 4.x support; Interactive
Real-Time Speed, Brightness and Contrast control; fully
multi-threaded architecture; and streaming support using the
LoadFromFile and LoadFromStream procedures.
The
Dragon FlicPlayer System - The Dragon
FlicPlayer32 is a non-visual component which acts as the
flic-rendering engine for the system. This allows flics to
be played back onto any window, or direct to the desktop.
The Dragon FlicPanel is a visual component which acts
as a "wrapper" for the FlicPlayer32 component. It provides
its own canvas for displaying animations, but can also play
back animations transparently to other windows and direct to
the Desktop.
